Add SMS triggers to actions so your agent can send text messages during conversations. Complete the SMS setup before enabling outbound SMS.

Adding an SMS trigger

Add an SMS trigger to an action in three ways:
  1. Type / in the Actions field
  2. Right-click in the Actions field
  3. Click the + icon on the right side of the field

Selecting the SMS template

  1. Select SMS from the menu
  2. Choose an existing SMS template, or click + add sms template to create a new one

Example prompt

After the caller confirms that they would like to receive an SMS message with further details, call {{SMS_template}} to send the SMS out.
