Getting Started

Actions play a crucial role in extending the functionality of your voice assistant. By following the guides in this section, you will be able to:

  • Configure SMS sending to provide additional information to users.
  • Invoke custom functions to enhance the interaction capabilities of your assistant.
  • Set up handoffs to seamlessly transfer calls to human agents when necessary.

Adding Actions to Knowledge Base

You can add actions to the knowledge base in three ways:

  1. Type ”/” in the Knowledge Base Card’s “Actions” Field
  2. Right-Click in the Knowledge Base Card’s “Actions” Field
  3. Click the Add Icon on the Right Side of the “Actions” Box

These methods will bring up the action context menu where you can choose the appropriate action to add, such as sending an SMS, invoking a function, or triggering a handoff.
